Summer Camp Packing List (2007)
Boys need to be at the Church at *1:00 PM Sunday* with everything packed. They are to wear their green tee shirt and a
pair of swimming trunks. Eat lunch before arriving and not snacks will be allowed at the church and during transport.

Cloths and accessories
     Water tight containers for all clothing (fit under cot)
     Class A shirt with proper rank, patrol and position patches
     Sash with all merit badges earned
     Coat hangers for Class A shirt
     Scout belt
     Troop 93 Cap
     3 Troop 93 tee shirts
     2 additional tee shirts
     5 pair of underwear
     Boy Scout green socks and a total of 5 pair of socks
     3 Troop 93 tee shirts khaki, blue jeans (not cut-offs) or olive drab shorts
     1 pair of long pants or jeans
     1 long-sleeved shirt Swim trunks
     Poncho
     Closed Toe shoes and tennis shoes

Bed and Bath
     Pillow
     Sleeping bag
     1 sheet Pillow
     2 Bath towels
     Soap Toothbrush and toothpaste
     Comb and/or brush

Supplies and equipment
     Insect repellent (with DEET or Permetharin)
     Flashlight and extra batteries
     Boy Scout Handbook
     Canteen or water bottle
     Paper, pen, or pencil (envelops pre-addressed and stamped)
     Bible Reading book(s) C
     Corn Starch

Optional items
     Picket knife (with Tote and Chip Card, and not sheathed type)
     Camera
     Sunglasses Snacks (packed in sealed container and stowed outside of tent)
     $35-$50 spending money (can give to scoutmaster)

What NOT to Bring
       Non-electric musical instrument
       iPod or other portable music player
       
Cell phone
       
Electronic games devices
       
Sheathed knife

Health and Safety Concerns
       Scouts on Medication should have enough Meds for the entire week with a detailed list of what meds to take and how
often.
       
Heat exhaustion (boys need to drink plenty of water)
       
Heat rash (boys need to use corn starch daily, change out of wet cloths and swim suits ASAP, shower daily)
       
Insect bits (use insect spray, use mosquito netting correctly)
       
Home sickness (boys are better if they don’t see their parents)
